Scope of Services

A. Public Adjuster Services (Illinois Only)

Public adjusting services are offered exclusively within the State of Illinois and only by individuals properly licensed and bonded under the Illinois Public Adjuster Act. Any public adjusting work is governed by a separate written Public Adjuster Contract as required by Illinois law.

B. Application, Formation & Renewal Assistance (Illinois Only)

We provide non-legal, administrative assistance for:

LLC formation filings
EIN applications
License applications and renewals (public adjuster and roofing licenses)

We do not guarantee approval by the Illinois Department of Insurance, IDFPR, Secretary of State, or any licensing authority.

C. Consulting & Supplementing Services (Nationwide)

Consulting and supplementing services are offered nationwide and are limited to:

File review and documentation support
Estimate review and scope support
Administrative and procedural guidance

We do not negotiate claims with insurers outside Illinois where licensure is required.

No Legal or Tax Advice

All information provided by Greathouse Consulting & Adjusting LLC is for general informational and administrative purposes only. Nothing on our website or provided during consultations constitutes legal, tax, or accounting advice. You are encouraged to consult a licensed attorney, CPA, or appropriate professional for advice specific to your situation.

Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
Timely submit requested documents and materials
Acknowledge that outcomes depend on third-party agencies, insurers, and regulators

We are not responsible for delays or denials caused by inaccurate or incomplete client information.

Fees, Payments & Refunds

Fees for services will be disclosed in writing prior to engagement
Certain services may require full payment in advance
Administrative, consulting, and application assistance fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, unless otherwise stated in writing

Public adjusting fees, where applicable, are governed by a separate written contract and applicable Illinois law.

No Guarantee of Results

We make no guarantees regarding:

Licensing approvals
Business formation acceptance
Claim outcomes or insurance payments
Processing timelines

All results are subject to third-party review and regulatory discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Greathouse Consulting & Adjusting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Greathouse Consulting & Adjusting LLC, its members, managers, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your misuse of our services
Your violation of these Terms
Your failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

All website content, materials, documents, branding, logos, and written content are the intellectual property of Greathouse Consulting & Adjusting LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
